Getting Ready for Montana Summer Fishing
Memorial Day Weekend is upon us here in SW Montana and instead of glorious sunny days we will be receiving our last dose of cold weather, hopefully. Throughout the state there are winter weather advisories above 6000 feet with some areas predicting up to a foot of fresh snow. Not necessarily a bad thing for the trouts but a little tough on the anglers, especially those ones who have recently returned from warmer clients chasing big, silver fish. We are looking forward to a busy summer at Montana Flyfishing Expeditions with a lot of time focused on both the Missouri and Yellowstone rivers with a many others mixed in. Current conditions are excellent for almost anywhere in Montana this year so this trout season is going to be a GREAT one!
